Randomising rituals
Leonard Sweet described on Napkin Scribbles podcast how he inadvertently became involved in somebody’s ‘Randomized rituals’. Now I had never heard of randomized rituals before but I discovered that I already do them in parts of my life. For example when I am doing some writing I don’t like to always work in the study, maybe a library instead. Or rather than only having a big stack of Christian literature besides my bed, I like to pick up a biography or novel to read. I will sometimes drive a alternative route rather than the shortest. Again a good Napkin Scribble for making me think outside the box.
