There was a strong contrast here between the splendor of the sky and the harshness of the cross constructed from barbed wire.

The purpose of this station was to think about the things that weigh us down and prevent us from the rest in Jesus described in Matthew 11: 28-30. The Message translation speaks of “unforced rhythms of grace”. These things were written down on red paper and placed in the bowl of water.
