Ranges Community Church

Christina and myself watched the Abbey the last couple of nights. (Christina has already done a review!) Its a sort of reality show, where five Australian women end up in a Benedictine monastery. Some aspects that I’ve pondered upon

-The use of silence, removing clutter, such as phones, computers, talking, to let room in for God in our lives.

-The women were a good cross section of Australian spirituality.

-Routine, a highly religious life. Prayer/mass 7 times a day.

-God meet with these women, all in there own way.

I don’t know what it was but I found the whole thing quite moving, a great show to watch.
